 Final Route Sheet

Roll out of bed and ride right from Seattle!  This brevet is a variant of the Woodinville Granite Falls permanent.

Route Description:Starting at U Village we will travel over the top of the Lake to the first control in Woodinville.  Travel south through Redmond and then along Lake Sammamish to a short climb over into the Snoqualmie Valley.  Now turning north, you will head up the pastoral valley to Monroe.  Before crossing the Skykomish River you will turn on Ben Howard Road for a few sharp hills and a rural ride into Sultan and the Bakery.  Heading briefly west, you will turn north to go up past Lake Roesinger into Granite Falls.  This is the only real climb of the ride.  Head further north to Arlington and then finally Conway.  The ride turns south and follows familiar roads to Stanwood and back towards Arlington where you will catch the Centennial Trail south to Snohomish.  A slight hill takes you up into Woodinville to rejoin the Burke Gilman for a flat cruise back to U Village where the ride ends at the Ram Brewery.  Bring your pencils and a bicycle lock for the end of the ride.

Please note that this year's ride is earlier in the season and the probable overcast skies makes the potential for finishing in the dark much higher than in past years. ALL Riders are STRONGLY encouraged to bring a front light and are REQUIRED to have a rear light!
