Ice Age Floods Geological Trail 300K

E-mail

Come out and join the Seattle International Randonneurs on it's 2011 Randonneuring Season.

Ride Summary:

This ride is a geologist's dream, goes by over 30 sites of geologic interest in Eastern Washington. Starts in East Wenatchee, goes out towards Quicny, but turns up the Palisades (a several mile gravel stretch - including an uphill section - so no narrow tires), through the Moses Coulee, along Banks Lake, then north to Mansfield, and then back through Waterville, down the Orondo Grade (wheee!), and finally along the Columbia River back to East Wenatchee.

You can pick up a brochure that describes the various sites at the Wenatchee Valley Visitors Bureau . details at www.wenatcheevalley.org
