Description: There used to be a famous Chili Feed 200K for many years that started in Kent. This is an abbreviated version making it the Half Chili Feed 100K (well almost 100K). Most all of the pretty roads without the chili :-). From east Kent we head due west across the valley and through Des Moines to Redondo Beach, Dash and Browns Points. We then work our way NE through Federal Way to Auburn and then back up to Covington via Lake Holm and Lake Moneysmith and Auburn-Black Diamond Rd. (Green Valley Road will be closed for construction, so the Black Diamond Bakery is out.) We will instead go by Kelly's Lattes Coffee Shop - a very nice rest spot at about mile 45, from where it's a mostly downhill cruise to the Soos Creek Trail and back to our cars. Where: Kent - Soos Creek Trailhead at 13640 SE 208th St
Directions to Start: Take SR-167 South to the S. 212th Way Exit. Go east on 212th which becomes 208th SE. Continue for 3 miles to Soos Creek Trailhead on left just beyond 136th Ave SE. Parking is limited at trailhead. Please park at Kentridge High School, 12430 SE 208th St., approximately 0.5 miles west of the trailhead. Restrooms and sign-in at the trailhead
