WTS 2: Kenmore, Cottage Lake, Redmond Ridge, Sammamish - January 13, 2018


Description: The 2nd of our 8 week Winter Training Series rides starts and ends at Log Boom Park. This brand new route will take us through some of the delightful neighborhoods of north King and south Snohomish Counties.  We will start our climbing out of Woodinville and take some back roads to Paradise Lake Road to Maltby.  From there we will head towards Echo Lake and then down to the Lowell-Larimer Rd before climbing back up to Silver Lake.  (Potty stop at either Starbucks in Safeway or the park.)  Return to Log Boom via Locust Way and 61st NE.  There are some steep descents so please be sure your equipment is in good condition.

The peloton rolls at 9:00am sharp.

Distance: 45 miles - Approx. 2,565' Gain

Where: Log Boom Park - 17415 61st Ave NE; Kenmore, WA 98028

Directions to Start: From Bothell Way NE in Kenmore, turn south on 61s at stoplight.  Continue down steep hill.  Turn right on NE 175th and into parking lot.  There is a newly instituted 4 hour parking limit.  If you are worried about that, park along 175th outside of the park.  Sign in will be in the parking lot.
