Camano Island 300K Brevet (ACP) 3/31/2018

The Spring 300km will start once again at the largest of the four Starbucks in University Village and end at the nearby Ram Brewery (bring a lock for the end of the ride if you want).  We will use bike paths to leave and return to Seattle—be prepared to be carefully follow directions on the Interurban Trail leaving Seattle. There will be Bahn Mi sandwiches.

Ride Summary:

The ride travels north to Everett, then to Marysville and up to Charlie White's house (87km) where you will have sandwiches, soup, and other food.

Be sure to order your Bahn Mi sandwich at https://doodle.com/poll/dz9quu2nteicuee6.

From Marysville, we will travel over to Camano Island and do a full loop of the Island including two visits to the beach, and a few hills as well. The ride travels back to Stanwood and across to the Centennial trail. From there you will ride back to Snohomish. From Snohomish you will take familiar roads to the Burke Gilman to the return to the RAM brewery where you can join your friends to tell of your adventures, and have a cold beverage or burger.

This is an early season ride, so come prepared with lights and reflective gear. If the weather looks like rain, you will avoid the wrath of fellow riders and score points with fenders and a buddy flap. As usual, there is no official support on the route, although we pass through several communities with services. A final cue sheet and map will be posted the week of the ride.

The ride will start promptly at 6am with announcements at 5:50. Closing time is 2am. Coffee and pastries will be provided at the start. Bring a pencil or pen since there are many information controls.
